  • Boring answer but bridal alterations vary greatly. As a rule of thumb ‘standard’ alterations on a relatively plain dress are around £250. Lace/beading and more complex alteration needs bring that up. If you drop us an email enquiries@thehem.co.uk with a description of what you think needs tailoring and a picture of you in the dress I always do my best to give an estimate.

  • Unfortunately not (for now!). The alterations studio isn’t currently big enough to hold fittings so for now all fittings are remote.

  • Yes but a limited amount. I generally only take on event/ occasion wear but if there’s something you would like altered or made please don’t hesitate to get in touch at enquiries@thehem.co.uk.

  • Yes but we have a limited capacity for last minute alterations which are subject to an additional cost depending on how close to the even they are. We always try to accommodate as much as possible!
